ME ME ME ME MEEEEE!!!
But really...I'm having a blog identity crisis! Back when I started this blog, I had just returned from work after maternity leave. I was struggling with balance in my life and I wanted an outlet to talk about life as a mom, a career woman, a wife, etc. Gradually, family members have stumbled upon my blog, and I have fallen into a (for lack of a better word) rut of just giving updates about Abby, without really discussing what it's like to be a mom. I mean yes, my life revolves around Abigail. But I do have my own thoughts and feelings and things I do without her. And I do have a husband - that poor, poor neglected man! He deserves some credit on here too!
Basically, I'm going to try to re-focus. I'll still post a lot about Abby. But I also want to speak a bit more honestly about my thoughts and feelings when it comes to being a mother and wife. And especially this week - writing about trying to work a full time job in the office when I also have a full time job at home!
So stay tuned...and family - this is your warning. I'm gonig to be more honest and just lay some things out there. You may not always approve or agree with me. But this is my blog and I plan to be honest, because blogging is something you should do for yourself, not other people. And with life as hectic as it is right now, I could really use an outlet!
