17 weeks
How far along: 17 weeks.
How big is baby: An onion. I'm thinking like one of those big vidalia onions.
Total weight gain: 5 healthy pounds
Diet/exercise: After gaining almost 40 pounds with Abigail, I am determined to maintain better health during this pregnancy. I've been jogging with a friend after work, but not as consistently as I should. Diet's going ok.
Maternity clothes: Is all I can wear, except around the house. I can still of course wear normal pj's & workout clothes.
Sleep: Getting better. Still hard to get comfortable & at this point I'm not allowed to sleep on my back or stomach, which leaves me sleeping on my side.
Best moment of the week: I popped! I have a legit pregnant bump that everyone can tell I'm pregnant :) It literally happened over night this weekend.
Food cravings: Hot & Sour soup. Also, alcohol...I had a virgin bloody mary this weekend & it really hit the spot!
Food aversions: Not really a big fan of beef lately.
Symptoms: got some ligament pain in my lower stomach from things stretching out. Luckily the morning sickness finally faded away!
Movement: I can feel the baby, mostly when I'm laying down at night. But you can't feel anything from the outside yet.
Gender: We find out next week :)
What I’m looking forward to: The big ultrasound next week so I can start dreaming of nursery decorations & buying clothes...or not buying clothes :)
What I miss: Still wishing I could have a real cocktail. Also miss sleeping on my back. But I have to say I am enjoying the ability to wear pants with no waistline.
Next appt: Ultrasound Sept 20th.
