Splish Splosh, Splish Splosh

So I know I'm probably biased, but for realz my baby is so ridiculously cute! I can't stand it! It's a good thing too, cause she can be quite frustrating at times. Usually times right around 9:30pm, when I would like to go to bed.

My cousin-in-law (is that even a real title for a relative?) got her son a baby pool. He's just 6 weeks younger than Abigail. It was the cutest pool ever & of course Abigail shouldn't go without, so I promptly copied the C-I-L & ordered Abigail an almost identical baby pool & had it shipped overnight. Overnight because we live in the Seattle area & last night was the warmest it was going to be all week - a high of 77 degrees. Yeah - it's mid-July & we're still getting highs in the 60's & 70's...sigh.

Anyway, she LOVED the pool. Mostly, she loved to eat the toys that came with it, but she did enjoy plenty of splashing as well. I took tons of photos & video. And now that I'm looking thru it all, I just can't believe how stinkin cute she is! I mean seriously, we really lucked out!





Ugh - do you need some water? To dillute the amount of cute you just experienced? Please - take a break, take a moment...because there's more...

So, everyone knows swimming makes you hungry. Abigal had a teething biscuit & peas for dinner. Ironically, the teething biscuit was the messiest part! And HOORAY! IT'S A MIRACLE! Abigail ate her peas! That was the first time she hasn't gagged at the taste of peas. Probably because the peas were made by "Earth's Best" and not by momma, but still - progress!



I really can't get over how cute she is! And a good thing too, or I wouldn't be as easy going about the fact that lately she has been biting me 'til I bleed every time I nurse her, or that she goes to bed at her bedtime & then wakes up at 9:30pm, ready to party & refusing to sleep in her crib. Funny how she's basically a perfect baby up until bedtime. I kind of feel like we should get a puppy & make baby #2 right now, that way in 5 years I can finally get some sleep. LOL! Don't worry, I'm kidding. sorta
