Happy Holidays - quite delayed

I actually drafted this post 2 weeks ago, but was trying to gather pictures. And upon special request by certain family members, here are some pictures from Christmas...

December 2010 was officially the best holiday season of my life!! The holidays are exponentially better when you have small children! Abby had SOO much fun & it was so fun to watch her interract with extended family and open gifts.

Christmas Eve, we spent with Brandon's extended family. Abby got to play with her 3 year old cousin & the two of them entertained us all! Thanks to a later than normal bedtime, Abby actually slept in on Christmas Day! Then, the 3 of us opened gifts together - Abby's big gift from us was an Abby-size arm chair.
She immediately climbed up into the chair & opened most of her gifts while sitting in it. It was so cute! She did have to fight off the cat, who loves the chair just as much as Abby does! CAT FIGHT!

Mom & dad came over about 2 hours eariler than expected, and we opened gifts with them. We opened some very special gifts from her great grandparents. "Gigi" made Abby a jumper, just like one I had when I was little. And of course - she got her very own slippers, which match mine - so cute!!! They were the perfect size! They also recorded a story book for Abigail - read to her by her great grandpa - she loves it! She has me play it over & over for her. And she always sits perfectly still while he's reading.
As you can see - she is entirely too spoiled & had a rotten good time on Christmas!
After the 2nd gift opening session, I cooked, we had Dave & Gloria over (Abby's Conyers-side grandparents), and Abby played with all her new toys - she collected all her little friends & had a party in her tent. It was SOOO cute!
Then we all ate - Gloria made her now famous ribs - which were so incredibly tasty! I never would have thought to have ribs on Christmas, but it totally worked. Abby loved them!!

And after we ate, Abby had a 3rd round of gift opening - when she got a play kitchen from Dave & Gloria. Seriously...she's way too spoiled! We MUST have at least 1 more child, so that Abigail doesn't grow up to be a rotten snot!
Finally, everyone left and we headed to Auntie Theresa's house where we had yet another meal & got to see Abby's Uncle David & her Grandma Candi. She didn't get much napping in with all the festivities, and when she opened the cozy blanket from her grandma, she laid right down!

Merry Christmas! Just a few weeks late...hope you enjoyed the pictures :)
