Does this fur make me look fat?

Ok, so apparently my cat is fat. She weighs 17 pounds. She can barely jump up onto our bed. She's ALWAYS hungry. But for some reason, when I look at her, I just think she's a little thick, but not overly fat. Am I blinded by love? I took photos to try to prove to myself that she is, in fact, fat. Yet, I still don't think they look all that bad. What do you think? Is she morbidly obese?

We have a vet appointment this weekend to discuss her weight.
