Why can't I ever find my keys!? Oh.

As I went to dig in my purse for cash at Starbucks this morning, I was embarrassed when bright orange crumbs fell out when I unfolded my dollar bill.

I smiled slightly embarrassed & explained, "Cracker crumbs, sorry!"

This got me to thinking, about all of the items I carry around in my purse at all times, even when I'm at work. Because who knows when I'll need them. Here are the contents of my purse as it sits in my lap on  a Wednesday at 10am in the office:

• Safeway/Fred Meyer receipts -because I've been buying craft supplies & am not sure what I'll decide to return.
• Debit, Starbucks, Credit cards all in different pockets, none in my actual wallet. Because Abby was playing with my wallet the other day & I've slowly been recovering the cards, yet not putting them back in wallet just in case Abby gets ahold of it again.
• My keys. (normal) Spare keys that I don't know what they go to, but when Abby demands to play with MY keys, I hand her these.
• Current novel (only time to read is on bus - it's a daily dilema. To nap or to read on bus?), titled I Don't Know How She Does It it's about a working mom. Go figure.
• 3 diapers. 2 of which are the actual size Abby wears currently.
• travel pack of wipes
• Random coupons the store prints based on your common purchases - these include Huggies coupon, orange juice coupon, and energy-boosting vitamin pack. Really. Can't make this stuff up.
• Random wad of toilet paper. (Abby has a cold)
• Tiny princess hairbrush.
• Wallet
• 2 organge hairbows. I just realized Abby must have stollen these from Michael's this weekend. We passed them in an aisle. Now I find them in my purse. Oops.
• Smashed oatmeal raisin cookie still in wrapper (for emergency cookie tantrum)
• pack of orange peanut butter crackers - the kind that have filled my purse with bright orange crumbs.
• fruit snacks
• Oreo cookies. For Abby's party cupcakes. Not sure why they're being stored in my purse.
• blow pop from recent birthday party. I attempted to hide said blow pop so Abby wouldn't have too much sugar. She just found another one.
• Chopsticks?
• Hotel bar of oatmeal soap.
• Balloon clips. Why? I have no idea.
• Pastel pink sharpie. Also no idea.
• A pack of hair bands
• Checkbook
• Mail
• Leftover party invitations
• Ultrasound picture from 1st ultrasound with baby #2
• Trash service calendar
• Coupon for free entrance to "Reptile Museum"
• Gymboree Membership card at the ready
• Lipstick/Lip Gloss
• Eye drops for when Abby gets pink eye. Yes, I keep them in stock.
• Bus card

I think that's about it. Wow, now I feel like Mary Poppins.
