I made a pot roast dinner, with mashed potatoes, and of course veggies roasted along with the roast - carrots & celery. After Abby had stollen all of my celery from my lunch (tuna fish salad with celery sticks, cause I"m on a freakin' diet), I figured I'd put some on her dinner plate. Turns out it's her new favorite food, cause she refused to eat anything other than "celerly". Eventually, I talked her into eating a few bites of roast, which she called "chicken" by telling her it would help her grow big & strong like daddy. After eating her "chicken", she ran around the house for the rest of the evening showing off her strong she was! I'm kinda worried that was only a 1-time trick, cause now she thinks she's as strong as Hulk.
The weekend was pretty chill for a change, quite nice. The weather was lovely and we ventured out to the park. Abby actually ran into 3 of her very own friends! Not friends we have, who have kids, so therefore are Abby's friends, but her actual friends from daycare. I found I was introducing myself as "Abby's mom. She talks so much about your son!" It was a new experience for me, kinda cool.
this thing spins around like an individual merry-go-round
That little boy is Abby's very best friend in the whole wide world. His name is Cage. They are about 6 weeks apart in age (he just turned 3), and they both started daycare at the same time together. They were attached at the hip our entire visit to the park. I was so glad she ran into him! Made it so much fun for her!
is she not the prettiest baby?

| hehe! |
Part of Abby showing off how strong she was, was her lifting Brooklyn's legs in the bathtub. And yes, that is impressive, cause Brooklyn is a GIANT baby! Bless her heart.
