Lately

Summer's almost over & phew! I am so ready for fall! I NEED things to slow down. Life's been a bit overwhelming lately. It's all been good, just very, very busy.

on Labor Day I conned Nana into going with the girls & I to the local fair. It was H-O-T! And I was on day 1 of a new diet/exercise plan so I was banned from fair food or lemonade. Abby got to ride her very first roller coaster, and Brooklyn was beside herself with excitement to see the farm animals. It was a lot of work, a very sweaty & stinky experience. But overall definitely worth it.

Like I said it was hot & sunnier than anticipated. I made sure the girls were safe from the sun, but I did not protect myself. When I got home I was a bit crispy. Luckily I have this magic body butter that works wonders on sunburns! Instant relief & no burn the next day - woohoo!

Other than the fair, life's been busy as usual but nothing noteworthy. The girls got some yucky crud from daycare so we've been on antibiotics, Brooklyn is the happiest, funniest kid ever. Abby is getting in trouble, but doing a lot better now that we have "The Chart of Consequences" (Parenting WIN!)

I'm going to do a separate blog about my new fitness goals because I want to track my progress with that & I have some funny/embarrassing pics to post :)
