So, my parents are visiting family down south & We Skyped with them the other day. It was pure insanity in my house. The grandparents were trying to talk to the kids, but they kept running away, then they kept fighting over who got to be on the video, then they started chasing each other, etc. At that moment I realized just how nuts my house is on the regular. And normally I don't even notice it. It's only when I'm trying to have a "proper" conversation that I realize it's impossible in this nut house.
Also, Brooklyn is getting quite the personality lately. She is so stinkin' cute! Last night she insisted on playing in the dining room & insisted I sit in a specific chair. Any time I got distracted or my attention went away from her, she yelled at me. And here I thought Abby would be the only bossy one.
Well, this is a bit longer than most videos I post, but I thought it captured a typical evening for us. This is totally normal. Although to an outsider it may look like we're weird. Abby's bouncing on a pink dog, using a measuring tape as the reigns. Brooklyn's stacking & unstacking bowls, which she did for about a half hour continuously. Whatever floats her boat. (And of course Romie made her usual cameo. If you look back at every video I've ever taken at home since Abby was born, Romie will make her cameo. She is always close by with the kids.)
