Yesterday was Abigail's 4th birthday. We kept things low key as her actual birthday party will be this Saturday. However, we did send a cake to her daycare so she could have a party there, which she did. Every kid at daycare ate cake, except Brooklyn. Figures. That kid just doesn't like sweets - she doesn't like ice cream either. So we came home, Abby got some birthday cards in the mail, which made her day! And we opened a small gift, had pepperoni pizza (mom had baked chicken & asparagus - staying strong to my fitness goals!!!) And then we carved a pumpkin.
I'd say it was pretty perfect for a weekday birthday for miss Abigail Jean. However, I think Brooklyn enjoyed Abby's birthday just as much as Abby herself!!
Here's some pics. Party's tomorrow. I'll be baking up a lot of cupcakes tonight, and crafting, and then figuring out how to transport it all to the zoo :)
