This week in pictures

I'm exhausted. It's been a very exhausting week. I did manage to document it pretty well in pictures though, so here we go with a bit of photo overload:

On Saturday, I went to AT&T to activate my iphone (thanks mom!) directly across from the AT&T store was an Old Navy, which was having a sale, so I couldn't resist buying these for Hawaii...

How cute is this romper!?

Photobucket On Sunday, Brandon wasn't feeling well so I took Abby to church while he stayed home. She LOVES, I mean LOVES church! I let her sit with me during worship, since she loves music. She claps, and dances, and attempts to sing along. Then I take her into the nursery & she just walks right in like "See ya mom!" And to be honest? It's kind of nice to have that hour in service to feel like an adult & sit still and listen to another adult talk :)

Then, since Brandon was feeling guilty for missing church I talked him into going to the baby consignment store and then an indoor play area. The indoor play area was OK. It was fun for Abby, but looked pretty dirty and made me nervous about germs. As it would turn out, rightfully so.

Then, Monday we all woke up exhausted & Abby had a fever and a crusty eye. I blame the ball pit.

Poor pitiful baby

She was SO pathetic!

She was sick all day Monday & Tuesday. She'd perk up a bit in the evenings & then wake up feeling lousy again in the mornings. Then Tuesday night she was up ALL.NIGHT.LONG! She woke up seemingly ok Wednesday morning, but after the night we had I thought it would be best to keep her home one more day. She took a good nap, sawing logs nonstop for 2.5 hours!

Photobucket I took her to the doctor, where she informed me Abby seemed to be over her flu, and most likely was awake all night due to an evil eye tooth about to poke through. Good news is all 4 molars are through, so this should be the final "bad" one. Then, I needed to run an errand for work. She continuted her nap in the car & when we got to the bank she woke up with SO much energy! I took her to a play area to get the energy out & we played for almost 2 hours and she never seemed to get tired!!! I'm glad I took her though because no telling what she would have been like if we hadn't gotten some energy out of her.

She still had tons of energy left after dinner so we let her practice her gymnastics. I took video on my new iphone, but didn't know what I was doing, so I was taking video for what I thought was a couple minutes & then realized I hadn't taken ANY! haha! Here's a short clip - just know she did this over & over again 50+ times in a row. Literally!

So finally today, I'm back at work & Abby is back at daycare for the first day this week. And it might not be PC of me to say this, but WOW! I don't think I could be a stay-at-home mom! I don't know how they do it! It's hard work! I'm absolutely exhausted and so happy to sit quietly at my desk and focus on work. And that's after 3 days where Abby was sick and had no energy - I can't imagine taking care of a healthy, energetic toddler non stop 24-7.
