Vacation/Staycation
Last Monday, I loaded up the car & took Abby on a little road trip. 2 hours outside of Seattle you'll find a secluded lake right on the Olympic National Forest, secluded enough to have dirt roads & no cell phone service within 20 miles! Brandon had to work, so Abby & I went with B's cousin's family. It was very, very beautiful and actually relaxing. Which I didn't expect it to be, since I was traveling alone with a toddler. I have so many pictures, I don't think I'll go too much into the details of the trip. And the pics pretty much cover it. (Click on pics to make them larger)
Night before vacation
On the road
Abby & Casey chillin' on the 1st day (it was kinda chilly)
Lake Cushman
Worn out. Going home now.
Abby & I came home Wednesday night, but still had Thursday off, so we took advantage & had a "staycation" - it was absolutely fabulous!
Starting off the morning with finger painting
Not a fan of getting dirty.
Happy to be back in her own bed.
Water fun at Children's Museum. The vest is a tad big for her.
In awe at the dinosaur exhibit.
cutest dinner date ever!
We shared - Abby ate ALL the onions!
And then I'll leave you with a couple other updates and a cute video.
Update 1: My cat is sick again. Her hip is messed up. We're monitoring her closely & if she doesn't improve by tomorrow, she'll most likely need xrays.
Update 2: Abby is a clingasauras rex ever since I went on vacation with her. She literally throws a tantrum if I leave the room. I left to run a quick errand on Sunday. Abby sat on the bottom stair, staring at the front door waiting on me. Brandon couldn't get her to move.
Update 3: I'm looking VERY pregnant. I almost get embarrassed when people ask how far along I am. Cause I feel like I look 5 months pregnant, not 3.5
And finally a video. This is awesome, cause we didn't teach abby to say "ta da!" she just randomly did it on her own. She's the cutest!!
