Barbie's Birthday Party

Imagination. Ah, what a splendid thing! Do you remember being a child and having an imagination? I barely remember, and I don't know if I ever had as creative and detailed an imagination as Abigail does, certainly not at just 2.5 years old. That kid...she amazes me!

Yesterday she was playing, and her conversation with Brandon went something like this:
Abby: It's Barbie's birthday. She's going to open her birthday present.
Dad: Oh? Where's her present?
Abby: (holds up a cotton square) this is her birthday present! But she can't open it until her party.
Abby puts Barbie in her corvette, and drives her 1 time around the kitchen island.
Abby: Ok! Barbie's at her party! But wait...where are her friends?
Abby grabs a baby doll and Mickey Mouse as Barbie's party guests, then pretends to open the cotton square, which she decides the gift is "Barbie's Music!"
Abby: Ok, Barbie's going to turn her music on! (see video below for what ensues)
-Barbie Dance Party!-

I mean, what kid would make all their toys dance at once, like they know that's how it goes at a party??

Dad: Now what?
Abby: Barbie eats cake.
Abby then proceeded to pretend slice an invisible cake and made chewing & "yum" noises for each party guest.

She is the smartest, best kid ever. Period.
