Tulip Festival!

There is a local tulip festival, and this year we decided to go with our friends and their toddler. Abigail didn't into it too much because she was cozy in the carrier, and slept most of the time. Then by the time she was awake & alert, the toddler was tired and cranky & it was time to go! But I feel we have some lovely photos with stories to share, so here you go:

I woke Abigail up long enough to get a photo with the beautiful red tulips. She wasn't that interested until I actually showed her a tulip, and at that point she proceeded to grab any blooms within reach & squash them until they fell part...oops!

Then she went back in her carrier & back to sleep. We wanted more photos, but didn't want to wake her back up. So we just took pics with her sleeping in her carrier. That works, right?

What do you think of my new carrier? I love it! And it was super comfortable all day...and then I woke up this morning with a broken back :(

Then Abigail finally woke back up so we got some photos real quick (since Abigail was getting hungry - she let me know this by sucking on the carrier)

And then I saw some bratty kids picking the tulips! BIG no-no! But Abigail was cranky & the toddler was over it, and hey, there were plenty other people breaking the rules...so what did I do? I took a shortcut & trampled the tulips! Oops!!

B was paranoid that I was gonna get arrested by the tulip police so we hurried out...it was a great weekend though and wonderful to have a family outing with our friends.
