Sleep Training: Night 5

Naps: Abby got 4.5 hours of naps! 1 hour of that was made up by carseat naps on the way to/from a BBQ. The unfortunate part about it was that the BBQ was at 4:30pm, so she got some late naps in.
Routine: We waited a little longer to put her to bed, knowing she probably wouldn't be too sleepy from her late naps. Started bedtime around 8:30 & I was determined to stay calm & patient & not give in - even if she wasn't super duper tired & ready for bed...it was bedtime! It worked. At 9:15 she was sleeping.

Sleep & Night Wakings: She slept for almost 5 hours, then 2 hours, then woke up about every hour until 8am. She slept in though!! Because normally she'd wake up at 6am. So that was nice! I'm seeing progress.

The positives:
  • She woke up just as many times as the night before, but the "longest" it ever took to get her back to sleep was 5 minutes!!
  • Not once did she go to bed & wake up 10 minutes later, as she has been
  • Great napping!
Numbers:
Total hours of nap time: 4 hours, 20 minutes
Total hours of night sleep: 10hours 20 minutes
Grand total sleep: 14 hours 40 minutes!!! This is awesome! This is exactly what she should be getting!
